Appearance:

Build: Indigo is.. partially ideal for Glenmore and partially not? The ideals? She's got a long, streamline body with even longer, thinner legs. She's delicate and fragile-looking, obviously built for speed rather than strength. She supports very little bulk and is quite the weakling. The less than ideals? Well, she's quite tall. Actually, she's taller than a lot of Glenmorian does and actually taller than some of the stags. Many stags find this unsavory. 

Hair: Hair? What hair? This is another of Indigo's flaws.. She has no mane. Rather than a long, luxurious mane she's got nothing. She wears flowers about her slender neck, almost always a bright beautiful blue, to hide this from sight. She's truly quite ashamed of it. Her tail, however, is extremely long and full- a hint of what her mane would've been like.

Coat and Eyes: Indigo is the perfect Glenmorian lady when it comes to her coat color. It's a light, blue hue that many might find odd but attractive. Her eyes a light, lavender in color. Her face, chest, and groin are pink and are dotted with little freckles- another of her unique little traits. Her markings are pale, countershading just a bit darker. Her shoulders, legs, and polls are adorned with stripes.



Personality:

Two-Faced:

Lady Indigo is what you could call a little bit two-faced. In all honesty, it depends upon what your gender is. She treats stags with complete and utmost respect. Everything she said is respectful. She keeps her head and voice, which is already soft low. However, when it comes to other does she can be a bit on the tricky. side. Rafe's does and the does of his offspring she treats with utmost respect, for she is Rafe's servant and in a way, feels relation to his offspring. She treats them not as highly as the stags, but is always respectful. However, if you're another doe who is her rank it all just depends on how she's feeling that day and how she feels about it. She can be quite rude and snappy at times... Yet, at other times, the perfect little angel.

Loyal:

If Indigo is anything it's loyal. She stays faithful to those who she befriends and who never go behind their backs or break their trust. Once her friendship and trust is earned it will never go away. A friend can always confide in her. They can tell her the deepest, darkest of secrets without having to worry that Indigo will go out and tell the world about it. She's never been much of a gossip girl in the first place, anyways, often being the source of gossip herself.

Hard-Working:

Indigo works very hard, over-compensating for what she lacks. When it comes to her work, she throws her whole being into it- body and soul. She puts the does and fawns of Rafe before herself. Of course, she doesn't watch over all of Rafe's does and fawns- only those who agree to being watched. But, those who do... She's a loyal, hard-working servant for a lifetime.

Self-Conscious:

Due to her tallness and her lack of a mane, Indigo is extremely sensitive and self-conscious. It doesn't take much to hurt her feelings or to offend her. She's constantly wearing flowers around her bare neck, to try to compensate for that. Well, it certainly does make her smell nice if nothing else. Indigo has the horrible habit of nitpicking herself to death. She second guesses almost everything that she does... It's going to be very, very hard for her to ever work up any self-confidence. She also has not yet become a mother because she feels that she would make a horrible one.

History:

Indigo was, well, a bit of a shock to her mother. Lady Vivinella had been won from her Duke mate by a high-ranking, honorable Lord. Lady Vivinella missed the Duke a little, but was honored to have been won by such a well-respected Lord. She was recruited into his harem and soon a new life swelled within her. Then, she gave birth. The result, as already stated, was certainly a surprise. She was more than pleased with the color of her beautiful daughter's coat, though she'd been hoping for a son. However, what upset her so? The filly was BALD. BALD. How atrocious! Her Lord didn't seem to be too awfully bothered by it. He found it odd and was quite disappointed, but she was a pale filly and perhaps the baldness could eventually be bred out of her. Vivinella despised the filly. She'd been expecting to get offspring even better than her beautiful daughter, Telyn, but instead she got... a bald filly.

It didn't help when Indy hit a growth spurt and became quite tall. Again, her father was pretty neutral. He was quite disappointed that she was so tall and so.. bald.. but he was willing to accept it. Vivinella insisted that their daughter become a undermaid. The Lord was reluctant at first, but eventually agreed. Her future fawns would be Lords and Ladies anyways. So, Indigo was more or less forced to become an undermaid. She had a very rickety childhood, constantly feeling the pressure of her mother's hoof and never feeling her love. She did everything that she could to impress her mother, but never succeeded.

She became a hoofmaiden, being written off to an elderly Lord. Her mother never rewarded her.. She was just happy to have the young hind out of her hair. Hah. Hair. Indigo was miserable. Her Lord was absolutely awful. The old stag often complained, taking out his elderly woes and aches on the poor hind. Indigo served him for six years until the elderly Lord offered her as a gift to the King Rafe. Surprisingly, Rafe accepted the gift. Indigo became a nanny and mid-wife to some of the King's fawns and was overjoyed. She got along with most of the does she was in charge of helping and adored all the fawns. She got to see her sister more often. Her mother passed away due to age. It was a blow to Indigo, despite the fact that her mother never loved her... Perhaps that was why. She'd never heard or felt her mother's love. Yet, she has come to recover from said blow now. As for right now, life is good.
