Appearance:

Build: Maesa is a very dainty, delicate doe. It doesn't look like it would take very much to break her. Her height is mostly made up of her long legs. It doesn't help her timid personality.

Rack: Maesa doesn't have a rack, but rather a horn that curves inwards before going back outwards again, resembling a hook but to less of an extreme. 

Hair: Maesa's favorite feature of her own is her hair. It's inky black, stark in contrast to the rest of her body. Irs incredibly wavy and there's a LOT of it. Her feet are covered in long black feathers. The poor girl is miserably hot in the summer.

Coat: When she was younger Maesa's coat was a warm brown bay shade. With time it began to turn grey until now. She's nearly completely white, aside from some darker grey dappling on her rump and flanks.

Accessories: Maesa loooovess accessories. She keeps a simple vine band around her tail, blue feathers from a bird tied to it. She also has a collar that drapes around her neck, settling on her chest, that is adorned with these blue feathers. These gines and feathers also adorn her legs. She is a very showy girl.

Scars: Maesa has a few large scars along her back after an encounter with a thylacine. 

Winnie: Maesa found the young sugar glider after she had fallen from her tree. Her parents were nowhere to be found and Maesa knew she'd die on her own, she took the little thing in and raised it. It seems Winnie has grown very attached to Maesa, for she won't leave her side!

Personality:

Paranoid/Flighty:

Maesa is practically scared of her own shadow. It doesng take much to freak the grey doe our whatsoever. If you talk too loudly or with a strange time tone you'll likely have her grovelling for apologies. Maesa will always pick flight over fight if she has a choice...unless her daughters are in danger. They are the only things that bring out the will to fight.

Adventurous:

Maesa is an adventurous young doe. She enjoys travelling about Windborne doing her duties as a Stormbringer. She misses her youngsters when she travels but she never stays gone too long. She wonders what the other Isles are like. They sound scary, yet... fascinating.

Compassionate: 

Maesa is a true sweetheart of a doe. She has compassion for anything and everything. She has a hard time seeing the bad in anything. This makes life hard for her to cope with sometimes, for not everything in life is deserving of her compassion.

Feminine:

Maesa is very feminine. She loves to decorate her lithe body with flowers and generally just loves to feel pretty. She's not vain, just very very feminine. The key to her heart is certainly complimenting her beauty... That might explain her three daughters..

History:

Maesa was born to two humble Windbornes. They were a mated pair, having been together since they were very young. Maesa was spoiled rotten and had a very sheltered childhood. There isn't too much to say about this point in her life.

At the tender age of five, during her very first rut, Maesa was wooed by the handsome Captain of the Guard, Fox. She knew that it was wrong- he was a member of the main herd and she a Point Splinter doe. It was not unheard of, but certainly frowned upon. Yet, he called her beautiful, she was young and brash... the next year Lyre was born. 

Then, again that year she met Fox once more. He was such a handsome stag and she fell into his embrace once more. Cruor was born the next year... At first Maesa clung to the childish believe that the dashing stag truly loved her...but it soon became apparent that in his eyes her body was merely a vessel for the next generation. It seems that the story of Maesa being swept off her hooves is a repetitive one. That same year she met Jeet. He, too, was a member of the Main Herd.. (See JeetxMaesa Breeding proof) She gave birth to Lilithi the next year and from there called it quits.  She had three handfuls to deal with already- she was done. 

When the war broke out Maesa was filled with fear. Rather than go out to battle she stayed behind, assisting the herbalists with the wounded and helping to keep any storms at bay while their soldiers were gone. At last, the war ended and with it came the death of Fox. A small part of Maesa was heartbroken that the father of two of her children was dead...but she knew it was necessary.

The war had really put her training back and Maesa did not become an official Stormbringer until autumn of Year 765. Nothing eventful has happened to her after this, aside from meeting a Loyalist who she's oddly come to think of as a friend, despite only having met her twice. She can't help but have an innocent little crush on the doe, even though she knows nothing can come of it. (See Talks or threats or At the expense of truth.)

There's not too much going on in Maesa's life currently, other than raising her two adopted children, Allira and Epona.
